Un nuevo comienzo

Hello again and welcome! In this new post, I will detail what is coming to the universe of Alfheim, Veraldine’s Quest! A new beginning. Below, I will summarize the main upcoming updates without spoilers, of course. Naturally, for my readers in Spanish who have already finished the second book and maybe even the third one, this will not be a spoiler.

New Seccions

I have decided to add new sections to my blog and website. One will be dedicated to my journey as an author, detailing my challenges and experiences in publishing books in two different languages and two different countries. The second one will be to announce my progress with the upcoming second book and the current work on the third book in English and the fourth book in Spanish.

Another section will be dedicated to stories of the universe of Alfheim, which will expand the storylines and explain multiple topics about the evolution of the civilizations of Adnalia, expanding their mythology and detailing their history. This section will also include a bestiary, where I will detail the different creatures that exist and have existed in this magical world.

Also, soon you will see new updates on my Instagram profile! The upcoming puzzle post that I’m building will include two key phrases, in addition to many encouraging notes hidden in each puzzle piece for additional enrichment of the post. The two key elements are: “New Creatures” and “New Threats.”

'New Creatures' and 'New Threats'

That is basically a summary of what’s coming next! The second book's story will start soon after the sad turn of events that shadowed the lives of Veraldine, Adam, and their friends. Uncertainty, fear, and despair will cloud the minds of our main characters, while new creatures appear in the storyline, along with new allies and challenges to overcome. At the same time, a new set of dangers and foes will do everything possible to destroy them. Will Vera’s and Adam's love survive through adversity, or will it crumble with the twisted hand of fate?

After that prelude, it's time to mention important notes about the marketing material I will be using across my social media, and the participation of the most special person for me, who will also bring to life one character from the ancient history of Alfheim!

From the creatures, as we can appreciate below, the story will evolve, providing us with more information about these fantastic creatures:

Kratnaju

Gartion

Ruforita

As mentioned, these creatures and more will be included in a new section of my blog that is coming out soon!

However, not only new creatures will make an appearance in the second book; previous foes and new ones are making their stand against our main characters and won't stop at nothing to achieve their plans.

Human Fleet

The Dark Ones

Human Army

Regarding the material, it's crucial to highlight that many of the images I am introducing in this and the upcoming posts are images I generated through Midjourney, and some from Wonder. However, all the images I created through those platforms are thoroughly reviewed by me, and I edited them within Photoshop to increase the quality and align them with the central ideas of the story. This note is meant to increase transparency.

I hope you enjoy this new sections!

Hello everyone! Long have passed since the last time I update this page, many things happened in between and that is why I'm leaving this note from the author. So before I move forward, I would like to apologize to my readers and myself for that enormous pause of almost 3 years.

A little of background...

Back in 2020 when I finally published the first of my books in English, I was over excited! Full of joy an energy, I believed I could reach the stars and beyond! I opened my Instagram account to boost my online presence in order to reach more readers across the world, in almost two months I managed to get more than 2K followers and I thought the path I was following was the correct one! But it came out that, it wasn’t…

I’m leaving these notes here as a reminder for myself, as well as a testament to my efforts and my failures. What went wrong? Well multiple things.

For instance, it was the middle of the pandemic which represented higher challenges for life in general. At that moment little I knew that I was about to have a serious setback in my plans.

The night was long, too long but at the end the sun raised again.

Mostly due to financials problems I needed to leave behind the efforts and investments I was given to my new published book. My motivation got depleted, and the realization that the focus of my social media wasn’t the correct one either, complicated more the things.

I kept working in the shadows, at a slower pace, without much energy as before. Slowly, even hesitant I continued working on the translations, but with little to no time (nor money) for marketing. For these three years I looked back to that moment when I published my book in English realizing I wasn’t fully ready nor prepared to publish it. My book soon got lost in time and sank to the bottom.

It didn’t help me that my books in Spanish weren’t doing any better, without time nor money to invest in them, my books were the ones drifting aside in a dark sea…

After this time, I realized that it seems the only constant that I’ve been follow in my life (besides failure) is the perseverance. I know I cannot give up the fight, I want my books to live in the minds of the people. I want readers to live, laugh and cry with my stories! To dream with them!

Therefore, here I am, again, tired, older, but still trying to do my best to reach more audience.

Now after 3 years since I published the first translation, the book “The Ancient Relics”, now I have finally finished the second part in English which I will be available for sale in the coming months. So like a famous phrase of a video game… Here we go again…

If you would like to give my books an opportunity of trapping you in a world of fantasy, please click in the following link, you can download the first chapters for free in: amazon.com

At the same time if you would like to read more about the content of my blog and my social media, soon I will be adding new content. I hope you liked this note from the author, thank you for reading me! Let's go for more...
